Named after the dual quality of the hairpins, they sort of reminded me of those dual-wielding swordsmen (shout out to Zuko iykyk) haha. Historically, Chinese swords were classified into two types: the jian and the dao, so what would be more fitting than naming my hairpins after both?
Interestingly, some types of dao swords actually had a ring attached to them too... To learn more about dao swords, check out my Dao hair pin :')
Each hairpin order comes with a red envelope designed by me! Photo at the end.
Dual stick hairpin, with red and gold details. Length: 7 inches.
The ring is made of resin, acrylic, and gold flakes. The floral pendant is made of resin and dried flowers. Metal is composed of stainless steel gold plated (chain & jump rings) and alloy (the pendant).
