"Harmony"

i remember when i released my asymmetrical fan earrings almost 2 years ago now… so insane to think it’s been that long! these asymmetrical crane earrings were inspired in part by that. i wanted to create a pair of earrings that represented a part of clarthouse’s earlier work but also a developed and more complex piece entirely.

cranes have long been associated with qualities such as longevity, purity, grace, and wisdom throughout chinese culture. i felt like above all else, I’d always felt such a sense of harmony and tranquility when seeing cranes + the comparison between my work years ago vs now always had a sense of harmony in spite of all the change and growth :’)

as such, this is harmony.
